Anionic Emulsifiers

Product Description : These anionic surfactants are amine salts or calcium salts of alkylbenzene sulfonic acids. The alkyl chain is generally linear unless specified.

●      Alkylbenzene Sulfonate Calcium Salts

JCPL CRIL® is a highly versatile and functional range of alkyl benzene sulfonate calcium salts. They can be used in a number of emulsified systems including Emulsifiable Concentrate (EC), Emulsion in Water (EW), Micro-Emulsion (ME), Suspo-Emulsion (SE) and Oil Dispersion (OD) systems.

The products provide spontaneous emulsification (so-called ‘blooming’) for EC formulations, together with excellent long-term stability. To achieve the required Hydrophilic Lipophilic Balance (HLB), these emulsifiers are generally combined with non-ionic emulsifiers such as our CRIL® CO castor oil ethoxylates, CRIL® TSP tri-styryl phenol ethoxylates and CRIL®AE alcohol alkoxylates.

Emulsifiable Concentrate

ECs are still one of the most common formulation types for crop protection products worldwide. When EC formulations are diluted with water in the spray tank they form a spontaneous emulsion, with emulsion droplets in the size range of 0.1 to 1.0μm.

The spontaneous emulsion can be achieved by selecting one or more surfactants based on their ability to emulsify the solvent system, including the active ingredient, into water. It is by means of balancing the water-soluble and oil-soluble surfactant components at the water/solvent interface that a physically stable emulsion is formed. When sprayed, the dilute emulsion gives a uniform and accurate application of active ingredients on the crop, which is essential for effective pest control.

We offer versatile & universal Emulsifier system that works in a wide range of Emulsifier Formulations (EC) & they are APEO-free products.

Suspension concentrate (SC)

Suspension concentrate (SC) formulations consist of having a solid active ingredient dispersed in water. SCs have grown in popularity due to benefits such as the absence of dust, ease of use, and effectiveness when compared to other formulation types such as emulsifiable concentrate (EC) and wettable powder (WP). To formulate a stable SC, the active ingredient must remain insoluble under all temperature conditions.

Suspension Concentrates (SC) are stable suspensions of active ingredients in a fluid intended for dilution in water before use. – The suspended active ingredient must be insoluble in, and insensitive to, the dispersion medium – usually water, but sometimes an aliphatic or aromatic solvent, or oil

CRIL 3401 has a high HLB value and finds application as a wetter, dispersant and as a highly efficient emulsifier.

CRIL 4401 is a polymeric surfactant that is recommended for use as a dispersant in Suspension Concentrate, Suspoemulsion, and Seed Coating formulations.

CRIL AP 50 is an acrylate-based highly cross-linked polymeric surfactant. It has a unique polymeric structure having high molecular weight which imparts unique properties to the product. CRIL AP50 is a highly effective dispersant for aqueous media. Its polymeric structure and multiple anchoring groups offer excellent dispersion and keep organic solids in suspended form over a long shelf life. It also allows formulation stable formulations to have high solid content.

CRIL 3401

Has a high HLB value and finds application as a wetter, dispersant and as a highly efficient emulsifier.

CRIL 4401

Is a polymeric surfactant which is recommended for use as a dispersant in Suspension Concentrate, Suspoemulsion and Seed Coating formulations.

CRIL AP 50

WETTING, DISPERSING

We offer a unique chemistry from various Product families of Anionic, Nonionic, and Cationic surfactants. With a strong wetting agent to strong dispersing agents, these products can be used in soluble liquid (SL), suspension concentrate (SC), soluble powder (SP), soluble granule (SG), water dispersible granule (WG), and Wettable powder (WP) formulations.

Adjuvants

Adjuvants are materials added to crop protection products or agrochemicals to enhance the efficacy of active ingredients and improve the overall performance of the product.

These additives modify the properties of the spray solution, which improves the ability of the active ingredient to target, penetrate, or protect the target organism. Adjuvants can be incorporated into a formulation (built-in / in-can adjuvant) or can be added separately into the spray tank alongside other agrochemical products (tank mix adjuvant).

Adjuvants can enhance product performance by:

  • Providing more efficient delivery of active ingredients
  • Reducing the level of active ingredients required
  • Extending the spectrum of effectiveness
  • Replacing high-value or high-toxicity active ingredients with lower-value surfactants

This leads to:

  • Better performance and therefore increased yields
  • Less chemical environmental pressures
  • Reduced costs
  • Improved food safety due to lower residue levels

Application Use for – This is an excellent adjuvant specifically designed for “Cartap 4 G” formulations. Recommended to be used in tandem with other product viz. MEKOX–PAP.

MEKOX 505

In-Can Non Ionic super spreading adjuvant

Application Use for – It has been used in plant growth regulators, herbicides, insecticides, fungicides, foliar spray fertilizers. (Typical use is from 0.1 % to 2 % based on formulation requirement. Recommended starting dosage is 0.3%)

MEKOX PP 100

Superwetting Silicon Non-Ionic Spray adjuvant

Application Use for – Promotes spray volume reduction & improving spray coverage area by reducing surface tension. Typical use is from 0.03 % to 0.5 % based on formulation requirement. It can be used in plant growth regulators (0.5%), herbicide (0.1%), insecticide (0.1%), fungicide (0.05%) and fertilizers (0.1%).

CRIL DEFO 90

High performance silicone based antifoam emulsion containing non-ionic surfactants and functional additives.

Application Use for – Extremely high performance, thus effective at very low concentrations (10-100 ppm) with Defoaming & Antifoaming Activity within 15 sec

BIOCIDES

Our range of Industrial Biocides ensures all Water Based Agro-formulations have the right composition and avoid interfering with the active Ingredient of the Formulations. They are Formaldehyde free products.

CRILACIDE T20

It is a formulation of 1, 2-benzaisothiazolin-3-one (BIT)

Application Use for – It is recommended for applications such as agrochemicals formulations, adhesives & sealants, color pigment dispersions, leather & textiles auxiliaries, paints & coatings. It is especially recommended for systems having a pH between 1.0 to 14.0. It is normal use concentrations are in the range of 0.05 – 0.25% depending on the product to be protected and the environmental conditions to which it will be exposed.

CRILACIDE V90

It is a microbiocide based on Isothiazolones

Application Use for – It is recommended for applications such as agrochemicals formulations, water-based adhesives & sealants, starch slurry, polymer emulsions, and glues based on casein. It is normal use concentrations are in the range of 0.05 – 0.4% depending on the product to be protected and the environmental conditions to which it will be exposed.
